True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission (Spec)

Client: True & Faithful Pet Rescue Mission (TFPRM) is a 501C3 non-profit that specializes in rescuing senior and disabled dogs from high-kill shelters. Their voice is friendly, positive, and approachable, while also deeply passionate about their cause.

Deliverable: Trifold Brochure

Challenge: There were two objectives to be accomplished with this brochure. First, to increase the number of donations and foster/adoption applications. Second, to increase brand awareness while educating potential donors, adopters, and volunteers.

Solution: To accomplish these dual goals, I balanced informative content with persuasive copy. I established a tone that was positive, hopeful, and gives an overall warm-and-fuzzy impression. The key to fulfilling both purposes was weaving the audience’s inclusion into every section of the brochure. For example, the About section details who the Mission is while stating that they have achieved success with help from people like “you”. Collectively, the messaging I crafted displays how the viewer can contribute (goal number 1) and informs them of who the Mission is, why their cause is worthy of their time, and what to know about fostering and adopting (goal number 2).
